That's definitely what it has evolved to for us, Dale. The pocket camera goes with us but the Olympus stays home. In fact, the rechargeable batteries in the big camera finally gave up the ghost and I never got around to replacing them. I can run it on the AC adapter when necessary, but more frequently I just reach for the Elf. Stu |

I used to drag 35mm SLRs around with me and while I really enjoyed the versatility, there came a time when I was no longer willing to cart all of that gear with me. I ended up with one of the little Olympus cameras with the sliding cover that would fit in my shirt pocket. When I went to digital I bought the digital Olympus which was most similar to the film mode. It sounds like a familiar argument, but I'd rather have the smaller camera and have it with me, than the better, more versatile camera, which is usually left at home... |
