Thanks, Mark. Of course, just thinning the original down to 620 megapixels wide eliminates the advantage of those high mP count cameras, doesn't it? I get very reliable enlargement to 5X7" prints with my camera and have no need to go bigger. Stu |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Those pix were fantastic--it bolsters my belief that megapixels are not the be-all and end-all. There is a law of diminishing returns with size. My sister has one of those tiny compact cameras and it is so small her photos suffer. I suspect it has some sort of IS but her pix are awful. |
