| A bunch of my older pictures on the forums were actually taken with the old Mavica and its 1.2mp. Not ideal, but it is a testament to the fact that megapixels are not the be-all and end-all. Too many neophytes get too wrapped up in mps and miss out on other features. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Five megapixels is plenty, especially if you use the images for the web or monitor display. Tony Mandile is an expert at making great images for the web and publication from something like 5 mp. |
