I was participating in a managed antlerless deer hunt one year and even with a scope I had trouble being positive and passed on 6 different shots because of it. I have come to hate antlerless deer hunts. I try now to stay out of the woods and work the edges just so I can be positive before pulling the trigger! |

I know folks who thought they were shooting the right animal until they walked up to it after the shot... In the one case I know about for sure the guy turned himself in. He's very very careful now and because of that won't hunt with a rifle which isn't scoped. |
