Not when compared to film SLRs, Joe - maybe a little lighter, but it has similar bulk and certainly is more cumbersome to carry than the pocket cameras! Stu

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I take it the Camedia is pretty hefty? My preference tends toward smaller size and light weight, however the bulkier, heavier SLRs are much easier to hold steady.
