Description: I took this doe in 2000, I believe, just acrossed the street from my home in the woods where I hunt. It was the first day of the season about 9 or 10 in the morning. She just walked through the field like she was on a Sunday walk. I was in a ground blind about 50 feet away. She didn't even know I was there until I raised the gun, and she just stood there looking at me. Check in station people said she was 2 years old and weighed about 120 pounds field dressed. I almost missed her. The shot hit her in the spine just about where the gun barrel is resting.
